Ranks and Promotions
Promotions and ranks are designed to show how much experience a member has in the hobby, be it temporally or knowledge-based. Therefore, qualification for a promotion will not be based on a concrete eligibility structure, and will be left solely to the decisions made by command. Should a position open, the unit commander will designate the most qualified person to fill that position, though the member is not obliged to accept any award or promotion simply because it is offered.
